Happening Spring 2025!

Wasatch Community Gardens co-created its first partnership garden the fall of 2024 in collaboration with Rose Park Neighborhood Center (RPNC).

Partnership gardens are crucial in recognizing cultural identity in neighborhoods through food by supporting residents in accessing land for fresh produce in areas of Salt Lake County that have historically experienced food apartheid; or systemic lack of access to fresh food. For many marginalized communities in Utah, culturally specific produce may be difficult to source, purchase, or regularly access. Culturally relevant foods are either shipped or flown into Utah, traveling upwards of 600 miles before making it to families’ tables. This is an opportunity for families to truly experience garden-to-table foods when they are at their healthiest, and most importantly, delicious.
