James H. Woodward

James H. Woodward, Chairman Good Samaritan Foundation

 

Chairman

Jim graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, and a Master of Financial Services from the American College. His professional career is in financial investments and advising. He has held many positions professionally and in the community including President of the Salt Lake Association of Life Underwriters; Director, Steering Committee for the University of Utah Planned Giving Foundation; Member of Advisory Committee to Grant Taggart Symposium (BYU); and Member of Utah State Insurance Board Continuing Education Committee.
For the past 9 years Jim has been the managing trustee for the Good Samaritan Foundation, a private foundation assisting refugees, which he cofounded.

 

 

Tom Lloyd

TOM LLOYD Advisor to the Board

 

Adviser to the Board

Tom graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Economics, Banking and Finance.
He is a co-founder of The Good Samaritan Foundation which provides resources to refugees and which sponsors Neighborhood Centers Utah. He is a land developer and builder, having acquired 35 acres of prime real estate in Salt Lake County. He developed the idea that Salt Lake City needed and wanted a Class “A” business park, and then created the Union Park Center complex that currently has 10 large office buildings with a total of approximately 800,000 square feet.

Tom now spends most his time helping refugees and others in need.
