Founder Trustee
Tom graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Economics, Banking and Finance. Tom found success as a Utah land developer. He co-founded the Good Samaritan Foundation to give back to the neighborhood he grew up in. His philanthropic mission is to “touch lives”.
Founder Trustee
Jim graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, and a Master of Financial Services from the American College. His professional career is in financial investments and advising. He has held many positions professionally and in the community including president of the Salt Lake Association of Life Underwriters; director, steering committee for the University of Utah Planned Giving Foundation; member of advisory committee to Grant Taggart Symposium (BYU); and member of Utah State Insurance Board Continuing Education Committee.
Trustee
Dan is a practicing attorney with more than 30 years experience in the legal profession, including 10 years as a trial judge in Salt Lake County, Utah. In 2011, Dan took a leave of absence from active work in the legal profession to serve as an unpaid ecclesiastical leader of approximately 3,500 Church members in Siberia and Central Asia. In addition, Dan is a published author of many books.
Board member
Robin received his MA from Brigham Young University in physical education, teaching and coaching. He has successfully operated a local wood manufacturing business for over 38 years. He is an active volunteer in the community with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Trustee
Mark received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting at the University of Utah. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Utah. He is a member of both the American Institute and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. Currently, he is employed as a partner at Sadler, Gibb & Associates. Mark brings expertise in both private and public accounting venues.
Advisor to the board
Lane received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an MBA, both from the University of Utah. He worked in public accounting with two national accounting firms, was a senior vice president and chief financial officer for ALTA Health Strategies, Inc. and completed his career as president and chief executive officer for the Workers Compensation Fund. He has served in the community including the Greater Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Governor’s Cabinet Council under four governors, United Way, University of Utah Crimson Club, the Utah Symphony and Opera and others. Lane currently serves as president of the Days of ’47.
